Andrew Tate is often seen showing off his money in expensive cars, private jets, super yachts and designer clothes.

Andrew Tate is a former professional kickboxer turned businessman and multi-millionaire.

But how did Tate make his money and what is his net worth?

Who is Andrew Tate?

Andrew Tate was born on December 1, 1986, in Washington, USA but was raised in Chicago, Illinois.

His father, Emory Tate, was a professional chess player while his mother Eileen was a catering assistant.

After his parents divorced, his mother took him and his brother Tristan Tate to Luton, England.

In 2005, Tate became a professional kicker boxer, winning his first ISKA World Full-Contact Heavyweight belt in 2011.

In 2013, Tate became the ISKA Full-Contact light Cruiserweight champion followed by the Enfusion World Champion in 2014.

Andrew Tate’s last bout was in 2020 against Cosmin Lingurar and he retired with a record of 76-9.

In 2016, Andrew Tate appeared on Big Brother but was kicked off the show after a week when a video emerged of him striking a woman with a belt.

However, both Tate and the woman in the video, said the act was consensual and they remain friends.

In 2011, Tate launched a webcam business with his brother Tristan.

Men would be charged $4 a minute to chat with one of 75 lingerie-clad models online.

The Tate’s would take 40 per cent of the model’s earnings.

Tate said he was making $600,000 a month at the company’s peak.

But before the business expanded internationally, Tate would impersonate the models by typing messages to men and would earn as much as $4,000 a day.

He said: “The girls would sit on a webcam and an old dude would sit there.

“I was training these girls and it got to the point where it was easier if I typed myself, we had the two girls on camera with a keyboard that wasn’t plugged in, but I was behind the screen talking to the dudes, saying the right things to start dragging money out of the internet.

“I’d type for maybe 16 hours a day but pull in $4,000 a day.

“That became my new life, I went from a kickboxer to a pretend girl on the internet.

“Once the girls learned they could do it themselves, I needed some more chicks. That was the beginning of the cam empire.”

In 2021, Andrew Tate along with his brother Tristan Tate created Hustler’s University – a series of online courses where ‘students’ pay a monthly membership fee in exchange for advice on how to make a passive income from several online industries.

Tate describes Hustler’s University – now rebranded to ‘The Real World’ – as “a community where you will have access to stock analysis, options plays, crypto analysis, DeFi, E-commerce, Copywriting, Freelancing, Flipping, Real Estate, Financial Planning, Affiliate Marketing, Business Management and more”.

The idea is ‘students’ make money through side hustles and can escape working the nine-to-five – or as Andrew Tate calls it, “escaping the Matrix”.

The course costs $49.99 a month.

On 29 December 2022, Andrew Tate along with his brother Tristan were arrested on suspicion of human trafficking, rape and forming an organised crime group.

The Tate brothers deny all allegations.

What is Andrew Tate’s net worth?

Andrew Tate has an estimated net worth of $700 million.

Before his arrest, he was frequently seen showing off his money with expensive cars, private jets, super yachts and designer clothes.

Tate said: “I don’t want to brag, but I’m a trillionaire, world’s first.

“I was broke for a long time. I made my first million when I was, say, 27 and then I had 100 million by the time I was 31, and then I became a trillionaire quite recently.”

Andrew Tate’s Hustler’s University claims to have more than 200,000 paying users, which if true, nets him and his brother around $120 million per year.

Andrew Tate had an impressive car collection before his arrest, which included a Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport worth $4 million. He also had an Aston Martin DBS Superleggera and Lamborghini Huracan Spyder.
