Jude Bellingham

Jude Bellingham has made his name as one of the most talented young English football players in history, breaking records every step along the way.

Here is everything you need to know about his rise to fame and his net worth.

Who is Jude Bellingham?

Jude Bellingham was born on June 29, 2003 in the West Midlands of England.

The son of Mark Bellingham, a non-league English football player, he took up playing the sport at an early age.

Just seven years old he was a part of the Birmingham City Academy, a team in the second division of English football. Proving skillful on the ball, Bellingham quickly rose through the ranks often playing for teams much older than him.

At 14 he played for Birmingham City’s under-18 team and aged just 15 he played for their under-23 side.

It wasn’t much longer until Bellingham made his first mark in the football history books. At the age of 16 and 38 days, the footballer became the club’s youngest-ever first-team player when he made his senior debut in August 2019 against Portsmouth.

He broke a record that had previously been set 49 years ago.

It did not take long until Bellingham started to draw significant media attention and in March 2019 he was listed as one of the 50 most exciting teenagers in English football.

His time in the Birmingham first team was short-lived. Aged just 17, in the summer of 2020 he left England to play for the German team Borussia Dortmund.

Signing for an initial fee of $31 million, Birmingham made clear how highly they regarded Bellingham’s talents when they retired his shirt number upon completion of his transfer.

Traditionally football clubs only retire a shirt number after a number of years of service with the honour reserved for a limited number of club legends. Birmingham said it would stop using Bellingham’s no22 shirt “to remember one of our own and inspire others”.

Less than a year after moving to Germany, Bellingham again made history when he played in a Champions League knockout match against Sevilla.

At 17 years old and 233 days, Bellingham became the youngest English player to ever start a Champions League match, taking the record off Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden.

A serial record-breaker, Bellingham is the youngest player from any club to reach 75 Bundesliga outings, and the youngest at Borussia Dortmund to have made 100 competitive appearances.

Bellingham has also represented the England football team, playing in the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament and in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

What is Jude Bellingham’s net worth?

Jude Bellingham currently has a salary of $3.75 million a year. On top of his club wages, he also earns significant income from sponsorship deals.

His biggest sponsorship deal is with Adidas, with the footballer regularly promoting the sportswear brand on his social media.

Bellingham is thought to have a total net worth of approximately $29 million.
